Beer is so easy to make that humans have been producing it for over 7000 years. The magic to make this amazing beverage comes from yeast, a natural fungus, that has an insatiable appetite for sugars. By dissolving the sugars from cereal grains such as barley, ancient humans discovered that wild yeast in the air would convert those sugars to alcohol, and create beer. This process is so easy that it is believed to have first happened by complete accident.
If prehistoric people could accidently make beer, you can do it too.
