Last summer I wrote about how to create a high-waisted bikini on my old blog. The post received so much love, I wanted to share it with you guys on Larch & Loon. And after lots of glue research, I found a way to recreate this flattering look without picking up a needle and thread.
- A one-piece suit (I found mine at Old Navy)
- Fabric glue
Step 1: Cut your swimsuit a couple inches below the underwire.
Step 2: Fold the suit over an inch or so and use your glue to adhere the fabric in place. If yours has ruching, you can use binder clips to hold it in place while it dries.
Step 3: Wait patiently for your glue to dry (I made the mistake of getting too excited the first time) and rock your new high-waisted bikini at the next glacial lake you visit.
